It sometimes seems that only the Italians, with their innate sense of style, can manage to pull of an ultra modern hotel with neo-classical elegance to such good effect. Let us explain. The Hotel dei Chiostri was in fact built on an ancient convent and from the outside the architecture that appears before your eyes is definitely one in keeping with such a venerable building – neo-classical, the use of arches and even a clock tower.
Located in the old part of town, it is also a beautiful backdrop to the magnificent landscape surrounding it, the mountains and vineyards all competing for our attention and the liberal use of superlative adjectives to describe the scene.
Once inside, though you come across exotic modern design, where everything has been thought out to accentuate all the hotels beautiful points. Hence the large windows to let in the natural light and show up the lovely upholstery and furnishings.
