Casa Fabbrini

An Italian b&b farmhouse is always a beautiful place to stay, but only sometimes is it like home. More so, if it is a wonderful country home in the heart of Val D’Orcia in Tuscany, where, away from the world, in summer, you can bask on the edge of a pool or in winter, snuggle by the fire and where you are delighted to return to after a day relaxing under the Tuscan sun or at the San Casciano thermal baths. In the evening someone will be expecting you, busy in the kitchen, preparing a dinner beyond your expectations.

History: Located in the province of Siena, in the heart of Tuscany, Casa Fabbrini is a country guest house hosted in the farmhouse of an ancient holding dating back to the 17th century. Already listed in the Leopoldian Cadastre estate documents since June 3rd 1625, it is said that the holding was formerly a sort of commercial propagation of the overhanging Castle of Fighine and, crossed by the famous Via Cassia Francigena. It used to be a rest stop for pilgrims from all over Europe travelling towards Rome.

Restauration: Restored and brought back to life between 2007 and 2010 by the Fabbrini Family, today it is a country guest house immersed in the timeless atmosphere of the past and, at the same time, enriched by all of those contemporary comforts that make your stay truly unforgettable. During the restoration the stones and all the original materials were kept, renovated and reset following a radical review of the premises from an architectural and interior design standpoint.

Garden and Pool: Comprising a kitchen garden, an olive grove, an orchard and a splendid salt-water pool, the garden of Casa Fabbrini is nestled in the famous Sienese hills between Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia, in the municipality of San Casciano dei Bagni, famous for its Roman thermal baths and the more modern Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort.
