A great place to relax and take in the good things from a beautiful region.
In our book, any excuse to go and experience fine wines, gastronomy and the delicious white truffles of northern Italy is fine by us. If we can then stay at the Cà San Ponzio, all the better!
This pleasant and family run restored farmhouse is an open invitation to discover what this beautiful region has to offer. It is the area, after all, which has given the world the wonderful Barolo and Barbero wines (and not forgetting those truffles we mentioned).
As for the Cà San Ponzio itself, a relaxing atmosphere pervades the whole place, where simple, yet comfortable, pleasures are the order of the day. Nothing fancy, in terms of furniture and furnishings, but a great accommodation to relax and enjoy what the Cà San Ponzio says is the real meaning of the “La dolce Vita”.
A place to rest, take in some fine scenery and treks.

Nice owners who looking during your stay carefully ater you. Rooms looking like on the pics. Lovely breakfast. Hopefully we find the time to stay there once again.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die persönliche und sehr freundliche Leitung des Hotels, die individuelle Ausstattung, Kamin, Weinstube im Keller mit lokalen Produkten, Wein, Nüsse und Käse. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und detail und abwechslungsreich. Leider war das Wetter nicht sehr gut und wir konnten den Garten mit den gemütlichen Liegestühlen und der entspannten Atmosphäre zu wenig genießen. Der Pool mit Blick auf die verschneiten Alpen atemberaubend. Das nächste Mal dann. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, im Bad gab es ansprechende Pflegeprodukte. Alles war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Insgesamt ein besonderes kleines Hotel mit regional authentischem Flair. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nettes kleines Hotel aus einem umgebauten Bauernhof in schöner ländlicher Lage oberhalb Barolo, ruhig gelegen. Sehr schönes Ambiente! Zimmer jetzt kein 5 Sterne Protz aber liebevoll renoviert und stilvoll eingerichtet. Leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet und 1 gutes Restaurant in 15 min Entfernung. Wir haben uns 4 Tage sehr wohl gefühlt und fahren bestimmt wieder hin!
