Casa Dos Arandis

Casa dos Arandis is one of our favourite tropical paradises on the Bahian coast, and you'll have no trouble understanding why!

Travel down the dirt track to arrive and find yourself surrounded by palm trees and forest, the exotic birds singing and the sun beaming down. Soon you'll see the bungalows' roofs emerging from between the trees, your first sight of Casa dos Arandis, your home for the next few days. You'll be welcomed with fresh fluffy towels and welcome drinks, all you need to start your perfect relaxation holiday. Welcome to paradise. 

Casa dos Arandis was built among the palm trees with sustainability and respect for the surrounding nature in mind. The 4 bungalows are built from wood and demolition tiles, providing the perfect mix of rusticity, comfort, and modernity. The size of the rooms and bathrooms will amaze you, but not as much as your own private terrace looking out over the beach, complete with a hammock and outdoor shower. For families, try the larger Garden House, and for couples looking to cook their own meals, try the fisherman style Bromeliad's House, complete with a fully equipped kitchen. 

During the day, relax in the tropical garden or take a dip in the large jacuzzi made from volcanic rocks from Bali. Indulge in a massage at the spa, whilst listening to the waves from the nearby beach. Escape reality for a few moments in the yoga and meditation room, breathing in the peace and tranquility of Bahia whilst releasing the stress of daily life. To top it off, head to the beach, 40km of almost deserted coast, coral pools and freshwater ponds, where you can relax on a sun lounger with a walkie talkie to order tropical fruit drinks from the bar without having to even open your eyes. We would recommend trying the Honey Cocoa, a delicacy only available in this region. 

In the evening, you'll find a more social atmosphere at the restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves traditional food made with local and organic ingredients. On Sundays, you can be a chef! Use the wood fire pizza oven to make your own artisan pizza.
