Western Cape is the African equivalent of Rio. Beautiful, sensual, stunningly located and laid back, there are few cities in the world that cab match its dramatic back drop, one that takes in Table Mountain, the Atlantic Seaboard, vineyards and Bay.
It’s easy to see why the multi ethnic population is one of the most laid back in the country made for the outdoors. There are plenty of good things going for it, such as great bars, restaurants, gardens.
Like any other city, it does have its hidden, less attractive side and the prosperous centre doesn’t really mix with the outer townships. But even here the people have a “joie de vivre” all their own and visiting them is an experience in itself, to balance the hedonist flavor of Western Cape itself.
