Excellent value for money Florence hotel.
The Johanna is that rare combination of a place to stay. 15 minute walk to the town centre of one of the world’s most beautiful cities, great ambience and an excellent price to boot. This really is tremendous value for money and so successful has the Johanna concept become that four more hotels where opened. The Johanna offers quiet, friendly and spacious accommodation. Residenza Johanna I is located in a 19th century building a short walk from Piazza San Marco and the foyer is on the third floor. Bedrooms are all individually decorated in Tuscan style and furnished with antique furniture.
There are books and guides, light, airy, sunny and comfortable rooms, and charming staff, who offer unobtrusive, informative assistance to guests about places to see and things to do. Please note, however, that in both the Johannas staff leave at 7 – guests are given the keys to the house and room. All in all, a lovely atmosphere and very reasonable prices, staying in Residence Johanna will make a visit to that most beautiful of cities, Florence, a memorable, and cheaper, delight.
