Duomo Suites & Spa is a unique place in the very centre of Catania. A luxurious hotel and spa located in a historical palace from the early 18th century, with a significant and charming fact to consider: proud of their Sicilian identity, the owners refurbished the building inspired by movies where the island itself and its marvellous landscapes played a main role. And that is why guests can stay in rooms such as ‘Godfather’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’, ‘Malena’ or ‘Cosa Nostra’. Four floors with twelve luxury suites & rooms, all of them equipped with hi-tech features and decorated with unique details and furniture.
Le Grand Bleu, on the other hand, is the intimate wellness centre of the hotel providing an ideal corner of relax & beauty. It holds facilities like a Hammam, a massage room or multi-sensorial showers. The lounge bar and the roof terrace are great spots to enjoy delightful aperitifs with views on the Santa Ágata Cathedral, patron saint of the city. In fact, the building is few steps away from the Piazza del Duomo, where the city’s main streets converge: the Via Etnea, the Via Garibaldi and the Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Some of the rooms even have balconies with view on the square, with its elegant palaces, the Cathedral itself and the famous Elephant fountain – one the most known symbols of the city.
